After playing with sat nav last night we discovered we were only 5km from the Rhine River so we decided to have another day of exploring on bikes, once again picnic bag was in tow. On our adventure we stumbled upon a huge disused industrial factory complex, this had a kind of eerie feel to it and was unlike anything we had seen before. Eventually we found the river and a beer garden – just to get into the German spirit of course! And spend much of the day relaxing and watching the boats go by (it is a rather busy river).We headed back to the camper at 9pm, thank god the sun doesn’t go down until 10pm here because once again we got lost!
